What Baseplate is
Baseplate is 1 of 2 secret maps in rtd and it being the first 5 star map, it's a small map with 3 short paths, beating the map 5 times gives you the STUD title.
How to unlock Baseplate
Baseplate is hidden. Follow these steps from the lobby:
- Go to the skins shop (in lobby).
- To the left of building you will see a downpipe with puddle below it, walk into the puddle.
- You are going to drop into the sewer, there's going to be only one way, then beat the obstacle course and hold E on the floating mini-baseplate.
Path layout
- First one goes to straight to end.
- Second and third are symmetrical, they curve one time by 90*.
Strategy notes
- Try to place most of your towers between the two paths (if they have enough range).
Which mode to run it on
Every map can be played on all four difficulties. They differ in the level you need and how long the run goes: Casual unlocks at level 0 and runs 20 waves, Normal unlocks at level 5 and runs 30 waves, Hard unlocks at level 15 and runs 40 waves, Insane unlocks at level 25 and runs 50 waves.
